MONDO GENERATOR, HARDCORE SUPERSTAR Added To MOTÖRHEAD's European Dates
September 27, 2005MONDO GENERATOR, the band featuring former QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE/KYUSS bassist Nick Oliveri, have replaced CORROSION OF CONFORMITY on the German leg of MOTÖRHEAD's upcoming tour of Europe. Swedish sleaze rockers HARDCORE SUPERSTAR will fill the main-support slot at the two Swedish dates.
MONDO GENERATOR will bring their distinctive brand of music to the German fans, making these shows very special. Nick was thrilled to be sharing the stage with MOTÖRHEAD. "I have been a MOTÖRHEAD fan for many years," he said. "This is going to be incredible!"
CORROSION OF CONFORMITY were forced to withdraw from the MOTÖRHEAD European tour due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. A New Orleans resident, C.O.C. lead vocalist/guitarist Pepper Keenan evacuated the city with his family, leaving behind his house and Magazine Street bar, Le Bon Temps Roulé. Keenan and his family are staying temporarily in Lake Charles, Louisiana and awaiting word on when they will be able to return home.
